The Velvet Baby Beanie is cute beginner crochet pattern that is quick and simple to make. This is one pattern that is also good for craft markets because it really take little time to make. Give or take 45 minutes.
It is also a good gift for baby showers. The softness of the yarn make it just perfect for that purpose. You can make a set with the Simple Waves baby blanket which uses the same yarn.
Himalaya Dolphin Baby is a super soft, squishy yarn made from 100% polyester. It comes in 100g balls.
It is desgined specially for baby items, and certified as meeting the OEKO-TEX standard; the highest standard in textiles. Beyond making blankets with this yarn, I’ve seen amigurumis made, and they’re always so cute.
A similar yarn is the Bernat Baby Blanket yarn.
The only challenge I think one might have with this yarn is if it knots; the soft cover tends to fray and disintegrate if pulled too hard. Otherwise, this yarn is just super for al the baby projects, and yes even pillows and cushions.
