Take a look around our craft and you’ll see tons of female and child items. So, I thought I’d make a simple men’s beanie this time.
You could wear it in a slouch style…
and forgive me, I couldn’t resist modelling my own design. haha.
Using basic half double crochet and single crochet stitches this is surely a project even a beginner can take on. I decided not to carry the yarn along so that when the fabric stretches, there would be no interference with the colour sequence. However, if you decide to carry the contrast yarn along, see a tutorial for colour changing.
See the reverse of the hat? a swirl of colour which makes a kinda cool design on its own.
It’s ok if you sell items you made using LM patterns. And I’d really love it if you mentioned it was from LM.
And please, do not sell or mass produce LM patterns- (the only exception is if you are donating the items made to charity)
Thanks. You can read more on LM policy here.
