Simple Crochet Legwarmer Pattern- Free Pattern

I think some of the coolest crochet designs are released during Fall/Winter- this Simple Crochet Legwarmer being one of them. Perhaps because of the festivities toward the end of the year? However, that’s not to say there aren’t other lovely designs during the rest of the season.

This Simple Crochet Legwarmer pattern is a fun and unique design that’s suitable for the confident beginner and intermediate crocheter. It works up quickly and will make a fantastic handmade gift.

Creating this design was a dream. I love all the features on the legwarmer, the ribbing at the top and bottom, the bean stitches in between the solid stitches, the fringes that lend a hippie look.

I contemplated adding the fringes, but I love the final look the fringes give. I’m certain, if you decide not to add fringes to yours, it would still come out looking lovely.

This Boho Chic Legwarmer is an easy wear. You could wear it inside your boots, over leggings or on their own. Wear it pulled up or scrunched. Which ever way, it will still look great on you.

The Yarn

This pattern uses Alize Cotton Gold plus, a worsted weight yarn that’s 55% cotton and 45% acrylic. It has a soft, yet sturdy texture, and I really like the that it is a mixture of fibers- they balance each other. A good substitute I found for this yarn is Phildar Aviso, they have the same fiber content. Whatever yarn substitute you use, make sure to match the gauge.

To make this pattern easy to follow, I decided to write out the 3 sizes separately. I can’t wait to see how yours will turn out and the colours you will choose. Without fiurther ado, get hooking!

It is ok if you sell items you made using Craft-Her patterns. And I’d really love it if you mentioned it was from Craft-Her. And please, do not sell or mass produce Craft-Her patterns- (the only exception is if you are donating the handmade items to charity). Thank you. Read more on Craft-Her policy here
