Fall is the season of colour, and this Rustic Fall Crochet Headband has a lovely Fall tone to it. But then, it’s no reason to limit yourself to this colour. There are many more ‘shades of Fall’ to explore.

And just before I published this pattern, I was wondering to myself what the most colourful season is- Fall or Spring?
At first glance, the Rustic Fall headband may look like and advanced design, but it really isn’t. Granted, it may be an intermediate stitch technique to take on, but with just a litlle skip here and dip there, you will easily achieve the look and texture of this headband.
The Rustic Fall headband uses the chevron stitch technique, the beautiful texture reminds of valleys and sharp peaks. It is such a delightful pattern to create and because of its repetitive nature, it is easy to commit to memory.
To finish this headband, I made single crochets around the edges, but honestly, it detracted from the beauty of the headband. The somewhat ‘rough’ edges lend a rustic look to it and makes it more aesthetically pleasing.
Of course, you could edge yours. Now let’s make a headband. Or if you’re not ready to make this one, take a look at some of my other headband designs:
It’s ok if you sell items you made using LM patterns. And I’d really love it if you mentioned it was from LM.
And please, do not sell or mass produce LM patterns- (the only exception is if you are donating the handmade items to charity)
Thanks. You can read more on LM policy here.
