Being an avid d-i-yer, I made this ruffles face scrubbie so I could use it along with my homemade sugar scrub. This is a pattern that’s not only easy to make, but also quick. A perfect beginner project.

Good thing I had one of my favourite essential oils to add into my sugar scrub mix. The benefits of Lavender are as great as you’ve heard (if you have heard anything at all. haha).
And if you’d like to learn a little more about essential oils in general, you can find some info here
The same technique used in the Mimosa Baby Set is incorporated here.
You could even make this scrubbie as big or small as you like. Besides being a great beginner project, it’s also a great project for your left over yarn. Make as many as you need, and gift them.
It’s ok if you sell items you made using Craft-Her patterns. And I’d really love it if you mentioned it was from Craft-Her.
And please, do not sell or mass produce Craft-Her patterns- (the only exception is if you are donating the items made to charity)
Thanks. You can read more on Craft-Her policy here.

Gave one to a friend at work with some sugar scrub, unscented cause she is allergic. She loves it. Wants to learn how to make more!

I am using cotton yarn, 1 strnd…what size hook would I need?
Rose says
If the cotton is worsted weight/medium 4, then a 4.5 or 5mm hook will work great.

Hi Rose. Do you have a video for this pattern or perhaps a pic of each round? Thank you

Just made this! Love it, thank you for your instructions. They would make cute gifts!
Rose says
Ahh, Anita. I’m so glad you made it. Thank you.
Sharon says
Since you call for 2 strands of fingering weight , how would one strand of worsted work?
Rose says
Hi Sharon. The yarn I used is thin, and recommended hook size is 2.5. Gauge is not so important for this pattern, so it doesn’t really matter if you used one strand of worsted weight. It would turn out fine. You can as well customize it to be bigger or smaller. Thank you!
