Even though this Ruffle Scarf was inspired by spring and the many left over yarns in boxes under my work desk and in closets in our home, I made the Spring Cheer Scarf with YOU in mind- to cheer you up even with the current state of the world.
I also needed to take a break from a larger project I was working in all week.
The body of the Ruffle Scarf is made with the same yarn I used as the Ruffle Sleeve Top. It is SO EASY with its repetitive rows, a mindless couch potato pattern that you can make in less than 4 days- it took me 4 days to finish, but it could take you less if you do not have to tend to children or housework.
The Spring Cheer Scarf makes a bright addition to an otherwise bland aesthetic. The colourful ruffles at the bottom add cheer and personality to the scarf and is a great way to use your leftovers. I look forward to seeing your colour variations of this scarf.
The Spring Cheer Scarf would make a wonderful gift too, and if you notice in the photo one part has more ruffle rows than the other. I made it this way so you can see for yourself and decide how much ruffles you want. I love the aesthetic the ruffles give the scarf, they gives it a little weight and are bouncy- I really love them.
