When it comes to styling outfits, my sister is much better at it than I am. I always consider comfort first before trends when choosing garments or accessories to wear. This parisienne puff slouchy hat is one I would easily choose to have in my closet.
Due to the nature of the yarn, I wanted to create something with texture. And that worked beautifully to create a beret that can be worn in reverse.
In case you are wondering that this would be one project you struggle with, I am telling you it will not be the case. The parisienne puff slouchy hat pattern is well detailed with explanations to guide you, and also stitch count at the end of every row for the size you are making. It is such a super cozy and quick pattern to make.
The Yarn
Scheepjes chunky monkey yarn is wonderfully soft and squishy. At first I was not sure how it would hold texture, but due to its bulky nature it held on quite nicely.
My first time experience with the yarn was when I made the Alpine Stitch Crochet Sweater for Boys, you can see another way it holds texture in the pattern.
This yarn is 100% premium acrylic, aran weight, comes in 100g balls with 116m and is anti-pilling (my first favorite yarn feature). You will really like working with this yarn and if it is not easily available to you, you can use any other aran yarn with similar features.

Hi I just purchased the pattern bundle for $27, and was going to start on your beret first, do you have any plans to do a video tutorial on YouTube anytime soon? Seeing someone put together their pattern is SO helpful, (FYI I subscribed to your YouTube channel too ๐๐)
