I know with the christmas holidays around the corner a lot of crafters are making handmade gifts. I bet some of you started since January, so you don’t get in a rush.
But for those of us who are late planners, a quick crochet patterns would be the ideal; this Filet Lines Crochet Cowl will come in handy to make. With less than a skein of Caron Simply Soft yarn you can make this.
The caron simply soft yarn gives a soft, thick and warm finish to the cowl. So even though there are spaces in the cowl, it does not diminish its cozines. You can as well substitute with any worsted weight, medium 4 yarn of choice.
This pattern is easy AND QUICK. It has a seven line repeat; which gives you the option of making the cowl taller or shorter than in the pattern.
Finished Size: 12.9″ wide by 8.9” tall
Gauge: 16 DCs across/13 rows= 4”
You’ll need:
- 1 skein worsted/aran weight, medium 4 yarn. This pattern uses Caron Simply Soft; 170 g / 6 oz, 288 meters / 315 yards

Stiches/Abbreviation:
- SC- single crochet
- HDC- half double crochet
