If you never saw a progress photo, would you have easily guessed this Extended Half Double Crochet Earwarmer was made with 2 strands of yarn held together? It looks more like a variegated yarn. I must say, this is my most favourite Earwarmer yet.
At the begining of the year 2018, I was asked to guest post on Joy of Motions blog. Even though this was something I said YES to and looked forward to doing, I just found it hard to come up with something to guest post about- I needed it to be something that was quick to make and also something that I really loved.
And I really really love this Retro Earwarmer. It is so simple to make and takes little time. I must tell you, I started this sometime around 9pm and if not that I had to go to bed, I would have ended it before midnight.
The Retro Earwarmer is a spunky design that will blend well with most outfits. It also has a beautiful texture (which you will appreciate more if you made this in a neutral shade).
Another advantage of this design is that it lets you use up left over yarn. It was just a spontaneous decision I had to add a sport weight yarn I had had in my stash for forever. I had wanted to use it up, but in a good way.

I am a big fan of designers supporting each other #communtiyovercompetition, and that is why I am so thankful for the opportunity to guest blog on another designer’s blog. It makes all the difference when we support each other.
That is why I love this saying by Mother Theresa so much:
You can do what I cannot do, I can do what you cannot do. Together we can do great things.
