Whether you crochet-by-seasons or just go with your creative flow, the Crochet Summer-light Vest is one you can wear in every season. Wear it in summer over a tank top, in spring over a strapless dress, in fall over a turtleneck, in winter over a sweater dress.

Making this vest was so much fun. It was a last minute idea that popped at me, and even though summer is fast ending, I could not let go of the idea- thus creating the Summer-light Vest.
As with most of the garments I’ve designed, this is made in parts that are joined- 3 parts that are joined at 4 places, the sides and the shoulders. Even though the pattern uses a fingering weight or 4ply yarn, it is a fast projects using basic crochet stitches- the Treble and Half Double crochets.
