Checkered two piece Apron- Free Crochet Pattern

Who says an apron should only be one piece? If you’re an ‘apron wearer’ let’s get creative crocheting this checkered two piece apron.

I wanted this apron to be the prettiest thing you see when you go to your kitchen. Good thing I had the colours, even though I’d had these balls of yarn for over 6 months before I got the idea to turn them into this apron.

The yarn used is a sturdy all natural cotton fibre

Then I got thinking, ‘why not make this a two piece’? So you have the option to choose how you wear your apron. I’ve never seen a two piece apron (never searched the internet anyway).

And if you like to have pockets on your apron, there’s space for that. Just fix it at the back. Who says all pockets have to be in front anyway? And if you want the pockets at the front, just wear it the opposite way. Win-win!

This apron is worked in 2 pieces with a sample graph that you may find useful if you’d rather not read through the repititiveness of the pattern.

Only the sample graph for the Skirt is in this pattern. You will see the sample graph for the Top in the PDF.
