Foundation Half Double Crochet- FHDC

The Foundation Half Double Crochet is made in a similar way as the FSC. The only difference is that you yarn over before inserting hook into the chain. Find the tutorial for the FSC here 

Materials
– Lion Brand 247 cotton
– 5mm hook
– stitch marker

FHDC Photo Tutorial

1- chain 2

2- yarn over, insert hook into loop behind first chain (where the stitch marker is), yarn over and pull up a loop (3 loops on hook)

3- yarn over, pull through first loop

4- yarn over, pull through all 3 loops

to make another FHDC:

1-yarn over, insert hook into foundation chain from previous HDC
2-yarn over, pull up a loop (3 loops on hook)
3- yarn over, pull through the first loop
4- yarn over, pull through all 3 loops
continue steps 1-4 to make more FHDC
