Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.
My name is Rose, but my parents named me Bekisu (which I did not like after bearing the name for 28 years. Maybe I’ll get around to sharing that story someday).
I am a craft lover, d.i.y dabbler, natural wellness enthusiast, gardening pro wannabe, mom to 2 blessed sons, wife to a great guy, a christian and lover of Jesus. I am one of those people who dislike being on social media but are still there because, business…?
You might have known this space on the internet as LoopinglyMade. Now it is Craft-Her. I chose this name because it is befitting. I have always been a crafter, it is a part of who I am and how I express myself. I find more joy creating with my hands than typing this ‘About’ page and staring at a computer screen.
This blog chronicles my journey into the amazing, endless world of crochet. My plan here is simple- to crochet as much as I can, as long as I can, create patterns that are ‘user friendly’ and special, to inspire you to embrace your crafty side and no longer think it is as for grandmas and senior citizens.
And who knows, I may offer more than just crochet in future. Afterall, I am here to inspire you in yarn crafts too.
On Craft-Her you will find many patterns to inspire you. From tops, to headbands, to inspiring wraps.
Some of my other interests are essential oils, teaching, grooming my African textured hair. I’m passionate about getting other females to learn crochet and I’ve been privileged to teach some women in our small community . In my opinion, it’s an endless world of creation and creativity. I also continue to learn as crochet is filled with endless possibilities.
When I am not crocheting, I am thinking about the next project (really), fine tuning Craft-Her blog (there’s a lot of tech involved as well), having fellowship with other believers, catching up with dear friends or tending to my family.
You are very welcome to use the contact form to get in touch with me, connect with me on Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram and Join Craft-Her mailing list to keep updated on the newest posts and free patterns.
Thank you for visiting Craft-Her
Permissions Policy
Before I began designing and writing patterns I did not really understand what the fuss was about crochet designers saying people should not use their work in certain ways. But now, I know better. A LOT goes into creating all this free content you see here and other blogs. And I respect that!
So, I trust that you’re good people and will do the right thing, but let’s make it formal.
You may:
- sell, donate items you make using CH patterns
- use JUST 1 photo from the site and give credit
- use CH patterns to teach provided you give credit where it is due
- link to this site on any of our public posts. If you need any clarification, contact me
Please,
- Do not sell CH patterns
- Do not use CH patterns for mass produce (except the handmade item is being donated to charity)
- Do not copy and paste CH work on any other site, rather link back here
- Do not make videos of CH patterns
- Do not use CH photos without permission
- Do not translate any pattern on Craft-Her to another language, please contact us and we will work out a mutual arrangement

It is true that each individual has a right to their opinion. It is also true about the saying “If you have nothing good to say, then don’t say it”. I definitely will love to read your comments/suggestions. So, please be mindful of your language.
