There are two thing I love about the Modern Style Crochet Beret – its simplicity and (yes) style.

I have ‘heard’ people say they take a break from crocheting during summer and don’t get why. I mean, because it is summer does not mean we can’t wear crocheted pieces. Take a look around, have you seen all the modern, chic and stylish crochet designs lately?
There is the Open Waves Top and Open Back Vest by LoopinglyMade, Easy Crochet Cardigan by MakeandDoCrew, the Webwork Cardigan by Megmade with Love? And these are just a few of the many amazing summer patterns out there.
With its spacy, airy design you can be sure the Modern Style beret is super comfortable to wear. It is also made with a mercerised cotton yarn; which gives it a subtle sheen.
This beret is written for two sizes- teen/adult and child. I should mention that you will find the band snug at first, but as with most cotton yarns this will stretch out with use.
From experience I’ve seen that it is better to have a slightly tight piece that will stretch on its own with use. Alternately, if it seems to tight, you can stretch it out with your hands before wearing.
The Modern Style Crochet Beret pattern is suitable for advanced crochet beginners.
It’s ok if you sell items you made using LM patterns. And I’d really
love it if you mentioned it was from LM.
And please, do not sell or mass produce LM patterns- (the only
exception is if you are donating the handmade items to charity)
Thanks. You can read more on LM policy here.
